Family education planning
We plan your child’s schooling and your own study together, decide who starts first and when, and set out a timeline the whole family can follow.

What we do
We work with you from the first conversation to the first day of class.
School selection
We shortlist primary, intermediate and secondary schools for your child, check year level, places and English support with each school, and handle the enrolment.
University entry and applications
We compare direct entry, foundation and pathway options for bachelor’s and master’s study, and support you through the application and enrolment process.
Adult study and career change
We look at your qualifications and work experience, work out what you actually need to study, and find and apply for the right course.
Study tours
We plan a short visit to see schools and campuses in person, set up school visits where schools can host you, and help you decide your next step afterwards.
How we work: a plan built from your goal
- Start from the goal: We first ask what comes after study: further study, a new career or the family’s next stage. Then we work back to what, where and when to study.
- Compare the options: We set out a main plan and a back-up, with the trade-offs of each, based on your background, English level, budget and timing.
- Confirm with the schools: We check year levels, entry requirements and places directly with schools and providers.
- Follow through to enrolment: We stay with you through documents, applications and follow-up until your first day, not just until the form is sent.
A local Auckland team with years of experience working with schools
Edustar Consulting Limited is an education planning team on Auckland’s North Shore. The team has worked in international education since 2011 and has built experience with New Zealand schools and providers since 2015.
We know what schools look for, which office to ask and how to explain things clearly. That experience makes communication faster, but it does not influence a school’s decision.
